My First Ironman race and it was full of excitement. I posted a link to my helmet cam videos. Kevin Parks was killed in an accident about 2:00pm Saturday the 31st. I rode untill I could just not hang on any more. took a break and went two more laps before running out of time, not that it mattered I was done after those laps anyway with my hands again. I finished 11th out of 24. I am pround of myself for entering and most importantly sticking to my goal to lose 50 lbs for the race. I plan on losing about 20 more pounds before next year and I will be tring hard to make it into the top ten!
